Nearly two-thirds of Brits ‘leave car maintenance to experts’
- 25th May 2010
New research has revealed that many Brits are more than happy to leave car maintenance issues to the experts.
The study by Unbiased.co.uk revealed that 60 per cent of households in the UK tend to seek expert advice and help on fixing or repairing problems linked to their vehicles, which suggests the continuing popularity of car servicing.
It also found that the concept was more likely to be left to experts than fixing electrical items, plumbing issues and home improvements.
Perhaps more surprisingly, less than a quarter of people said they seek advice on important financial issues which could impact on their cars, including tax affairs, savings and investments.
