IN'n'OUT confirm sponsorship with Plato in RML Chevrolet for Brands
- 3rd April 2009
In a dramatic late entry for Sunday’s (5 April) opening round of the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship at Brands Hatch. IN’n’OUT are delighted to announce that we are once again to partner long term British Touring Car ace Jason Plato and the RML Chevrolet Laceti.
The new deal builds on the relationship initiated at the Race of Champions at the end of the 2008 season and breathes a fresh lease of life into Jason's 2009 season since SEAT's suprise announcement.
Jason, an ambassador for the IN'n'OUT brand, commented; "I'm really pleased to be partnered by IN'n'OUT - their approach to car servicing is pretty revolutionary and it's really interesting to be a part of their rapid growth."
Oxford-based Plato, one of the BTCC’s star attractions, has become an arch rival to Vauxhall’s reigning champion Fabrizio Giovanardi in recent years, had looked likely to sit out 2009 after his SEAT team withdrew at the end of last season.
The technology driven motorsport industry, huge live audiences and TV coverage is a perfect match for IN’n’OUT, as we bring the latest technology to the world of car servicing, offering superb speed and performance to our customers.
Plato’s appearance is sure to add to the huge excitement that always surrounds the start of a new BTCC season and IN'n'OUT are delighted to be working with Jason as he once again prepares to go doorhandle-to-doorhandle with the likes of fellow top-line touring car names such as Giovanardi, Matt Neal, Colin Turkington and Tom Chilton.
Both Plato and the RML squad (RML – which runs Chevrolet’s World Touring Car programme) have enjoyed huge success in the BTCC, the UK’s premier motor racing championship. Plato won the Drivers’ crown in 2001 while RML achieved a total of seven Drivers’, Teams’ and Manufacturers’ titles when it ran Vauxhall’s and then Nissan’s factory BTCC programmes in the Nineties.
